Literature Roundtable

The Literature Roundtable is an event sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Reading Council to support the Virginia Readers' Choice Books.  It is held in the spring of each year for students in kindergarten through grade 5. To be eligible, a student must have read, or been read to, the ten books on the appropriate level of the Virginia Readers' Choice Books- Primary (Kindergarten through grade 2) and Elementary (grades 3-5).  The student must complete an application and submit a question about the  character(s) or setting in their favorite Readers' Choice book.  Selected students then participate in a celebratory event with book discussions.  It is a very special event. For more information, click here. To download an application, click here.
