Member Spotlight:

Elisabeth Davidson, an RVRC member, has met a lifelong goal of writing a book! She began attending marches in college and even then felt the excitement and sense of satisfaction brought by getting involved. When attending the Women’s March, she was struck by the sheer number of people gathered in one place all “out of love for something” – she describes the masses of people, the inability to really march due to the crowds, and the variety of attendees from babies in strollers to people with oxygen tanks. Inspiration had struck, and Elisabeth fueled it to write her book – We’ll March Too!. Elisabeth is available for book signings at the RVRC Fall Reading Conference on September 21st as well as for school visits to share about the writing process, civics and citizenship, and more!
