Member Spotlight: Tia Scarpinato

Tia Scarpinato is this year's winner of the Virginia State Literacy Association's Nancy King Leadership Award. She serves as co-president of the Roanoke Valley Chapter and is a reading specialist at Falling Branch Elementary School. When not reading or teaching (which is rare), she enjoys gardening and playing with her rescue pups (Jack, Charlie, and Dash).
