Tia is currently serving as our past president on the council. Tia is also the committee chair for our Young Writer's Program and Open Books, Open Doors (our community outreach with the Rescue Mission).

Tia Scarpinato is a reading specialist at Glen Cove Elementary School. When not reading or teaching (which is rare), she enjoys gardening and playing with her rescue pups (Jack, Charlie, and Dash).
